EFCC once threatened that they can’t wait for Ortom of Benue state to finish his tenure as Governor, so that without immunity they can go after him. EFCC in an attempt to get at Wike tried arresting Fubara at the airport, and had their agents beaten up. Ikpeazu wrecked Abia state. Gburugburu was accused of doing nothing in Enugu. Today they are free and can be seen dancing and mocking Nigerians because they all became Wike’s friends. @officialEFCC is not serious about their fight against corruption.

These are the exceptional team leading Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC). The last time they updated our secondary school Curriculum was 15 years ago and Junior Secondary School Curriculum was 12 years ago. Please say hello to them!

Yesterday, I spoke extensively to a friend who visited all the 774 local governments in Nigeria between March last year to May this year. In the process he uncovered one of the biggest fraud in Nigerias education sector. Firstly, Ministry of Education has no data anywhere. They all rely on UNESCO whose data are not near accurate. UNESCO research are poorly done and their data are fabricated. So whenever they publish statistics like the out of school children, they use that as a baseline to apply for lots of international funding in Education from agencies like IDRC, GPE etc. So the poor state of our education enables them to make more money through these funding agencies. They claim that education is underfunded which is true in a way but the funds made available to them are usually misappropriated or embezzled. TETFund and UBEC are another money making agency that needs to be thoroughly investigated. These people, especially the permanent secretaries are not interested in any progress. All they are looking for is avenue to steal more money. NERD has incompetent people working there. There should be total overhaul. Brilliant young minds should be employed and probably given their autonomy fix our curriculum. We have suffered this decay for decades. This is where our education reform should start from.
