@JonathanFoyle She’s a beauty! I bought an Edwardian sideboard/display cabinet for £35 without giving a thought to where it might go. It’s so big, we can’t sit around the dining table or invite people round for dinner. Our social lives are literally being ruled by a big lump of furniture 😐

@JonathanFoyle Walked past Oriel Chambers only today! Always takes my breath away. Another of Ellis’s buildings (on nearby Cook Street) is also decades ahead of its time. I imagine if Ellis had been of a more ambitious/self promoting character he would’ve been a household name by now.

Last night we had the pleasure of hosting Nils Frahm, a debut for us. We are biased of course but what a perfect space for Nils’ avant garde post-classical sounds. And for those who opted for it, alot more relaxing than watching the football!
