Delighted to say that @paddypower and Flutter are coming on board as main sponsors for the Pat Smullen race day in aid of @cancertrials_ie for the 5th year in a row. Brilliant news for our day. Over the past 4 years we have raised €840,000 and this year we hope to break through the €1 million barrier. It’s on Sat Aug 30th. As usual, we have our charity race over 12f and we also have our Curragh To Curragh cycle where you can cycle anything from 12km to 100km. Will hopefully be a brilliant day as usual. 👍👍🤞🤞

Over the past 2 weekends PUNCH staff have been putting up lots of kms in aid of our nominated Charity the Pat Smullen Pancreatic Cancer Fund Cancer Trials Ireland. A wonderful time spent strengthening the camaraderie between us while raising vital funds for such a worthy cause.

7 weeks post distal pancreatectomy and splenectomy, quite a mouthful! But having been given this opportunity by Gavin before my surgery gave me a real target to focus on. Very proud and privileged to have been part of it, thank you 💙

Last video from yesterday. At the finish we were led across the line by 4 special guests: 1. AP McCoy 2. Grainne O’Kane - the recently appointed Pat Smullen chair in pancreatic cancer in UCD. 3 & 4. Jennifer Hayes & husband John. Jennifer 7 weeks ago had a cyst removed from her pancreas. She is an inspiration to us all. She cycled the last kilometre and John did the full 100km. Thank you again to @paddypower for their sponsorship. A magic day. 👏👏👏👏🚴‍♂️
