Trump said the US struck a “big facility” in #Venezuela in its campaign against alleged drug trafficking. The US hit what Trump says was "a big plant, or a big facility where the ships come from." If confirmed, it would mark the first attack on land. bloomberg.com/news/articles/…

.@secWar has falsely suggested Pentagon reporters prowl the hallways accessing offices they are not allowed. We don't. Even his boss, President Trump, allows reporters in to the Oval to ask him questions, and every defense secretary I've covered for more than a decade -- both Republican and Democrat -- has welcomed reporters to their office to talk. Hegseth is the exception.

I'm proud to be a member of the Pentagon Press Association and grateful for all their hard work to protect our rights to report on the military. The families who send their children to serve not only deserve the best leadership and equipment -- as @SecWar Hegseth has said -- but they also deserve the information and accountability reporters provide.
