The criminal justice system can be absolutely brutal for survivors. Gisele has been adamant that she wants journalists to see the videos, "so that shame changes side". I am curious about the reasoning for denying her this. And I continue to be in awe of her courage.

Today is a momentous day, as we kick off the very first IDAA Block 5 course for specialist Domestic Abuse Court Advocacy workers in Scotland. So excited for our enthusiastic learners, and thankful for the support of so many agencies in developing this groundbreaking training

Factcheck: Maternity pay has existed since 1911 & is essential for women to make informed, supported reproductive choices. It is also currently at a level where 71% of women worry 'a lot' about money during maternity leave and 35% of new mothers skip meals to afford to live.

Just a lil reminder that it’s also okay to care about women if you don’t have any daughters
