First week back... "new" job in a "new" school... by that i mean returning to a job i left in 2022... I've never been more exhausted, or more happy that I made the decision to go back to my previous school. I've actually seen my daughter every night & not spent 2 hours in my car!

Seeing pupils achieve more marks on their papers than they have ever done, by quite a lot, but then seeing the grade boundaries & knowing it hasn't made a difference to their grades makes me sad. I agree boundaries needed to go up but why by such a large amount this year? 😭😭😭

Have to say, I had the nicest inspector for my deep dive conversation. Made me feel at ease, told me about themselves, laughed at my jokes - it didn't feel as pressurised as the one I've done in the past. Fingers crossed that it went well 🤞

I just don't understand how other mums work full time and cope with their child going through sleep regressions/teething/generally just not sleeping. I'm on week 2 now of not much sleep and it's making me terrible at my job and at being a mum. How are we supposed to do both 😭

As it hits the 3rd hour of lying on my daughters floor, I'm just wondering how on earth I'm supposed to teach a full day, on 30 minutes of sleep today? It kind of feels impossible? Especially this close to Xmas when the kids are all a little crackers 😭

@AsdaServiceTeam on what planet are these good substitutions? Surely swapping the tomato for a different kind of tomato would make sense rather than swapping it for a red pepper? 🙃🤦‍♀️ my tomato and basil soup has turned into pepper and Parsley? 🙃🙃🤣
