Consider this…many people HONESTLY BELIEVE teachers have an ‘easy job, with short hours, summers off, and amazing benefits’ AND YET, in the past 7 years, states have had a record number of teachers leaving the profession with fewer prospects than ever. Think about that. 🤔😐

Over the past week, I’ve seen so many former/ forever @UMWCOE students at new teacher PDs. It’s always such a joy to see those grads who are now well seasoned teachers representing organizations and their divisions.

4 days, 3 school districts, 200ish new teachers, 7 presentations on classroom management, 2 tired feet, lots of excitement for these new teachers! Thanks @KGCSdivision1 @OCPS_VA @SpotsySchools
