@FrankFeighan Children can’t buy alcohol because they are underage. Stop punishing people that are struggling financially because existing laws aren’t enforced properly. Also “pocket money prices”, how condescending to people who have that left after paying out excessive rents and bills. 😡

MUP is a targeted public health measure which will ensure that cheap strong alcohol is not available to our most vulnerable people, children and young people at “pocket money” prices. The lead in time for this measure will be January 2022.
