Enjoyable Puffin Cruises trip to Coquet Island today, managed to get on the Roseate Terns but not the Artics. Wonderful seabird experience, clouds of Puffin around the boat. Also, Tree Sparrow shockingly common in Northumberland vs. South-east!

Think I had 3 Stork low over M23 about 10:30am at about South Nutfield. Thought they were BOPs or Herons at first then realised they were too big. Storks is only thing they could have been.

More babies - this time a baby killdeer but only one left - sadly too many people with off leash dogs in this area - the arrogance and entitlement 🙄😡! Sometimes I just want to give up - so few people care - but these sweet little birds need someone to speak up for them! ❤️

Enjoyed a walk around Old Lodge today with @Edwardbirding. Mixed Finch flock feeding on ground included Lesser Redpoll. After an hour or so seeing not much, I surprised both of us by finding a Lesser-Spot W/P and getting some shots.
