SOSNE appeared before the Nebraska Supreme Court today to defend Nebraskans' right to vote on using tax dollars to fund private schools. More than 200,000 signed petitions to vote, but Senator Linehan is pushing to deny this right and impose a costly voucher scheme on taxpayers.

Gov. Pillen notes exemption on groceries in saying that Sales Taxes in Nebraska are collected on "things that we don't need." How many Nebraskans can get by without cars, clothes and diapers?
