THE CHAIRS AT STATE FAIR ARENA Many people have been asking about the chairs at The Big House. In talking with the ones who are "in the know" at State Fair Arena, here's what we know, for now. First, they cannot do anything with the chairs until May. There are 4 more main events at The Big House through May. Second, no final decisions have been made on what the process will be as far as the chairs go, but State Fair will be working with the city to come up with the best plan for salvaging the chairs. When the plan is put in place, they will communicate that out. Finally, State Fair Arena is very aware of the desire for patrons to have access to possibly getting chairs so we, including myself, need to be patient while they work out a final plan and make it happen. In talking to them, they are considering several options. #TheLastDanceAtTheBigHouse

It’s not about what you do; it’s about how you do it. Every team runs drills, lifts weights, and puts in the hours. That’s not special—that’s the baseline. What separates champions from contenders isn’t the work itself; it’s the standard of that work.

Champions don’t negotiate with their standards.   The standard isn’t about being great when it’s convenient—it’s about being great when it’s not.  Because at the end of the day, there’s no room at the top for anyone who picks comfort over consistency.
