Think of the highway. If you're in a car traveling at the same speed and direction as the car next to you, it looks like it's not moving.

You know, when electricity goes out. And as an alternative to internet. My internet went out earlier today and by chance, my phone was almost dead. I know it's not the biggest deal, but it would've been great to have a landline.

Last one I had was wireless which you plugged into the wall from the landline phone service from whatever cable provider but now I think they’re all bundled

I used to have a new phone that was in the style of the old phones where you lift the receiver but have to speak into the phone. Like you'd see in the '50s & '60s.

In 1 year, spending $20 a month on physical media gets u a whole library of carefully selected movies/TV shows that are unedited, no commercials (that are sometimes super inappropriate for kids), & ur in control of. It builds & stays your property. Costs once.

@willmckinley On the one hand, as a fan of physical media, I'm heartened at this news. On the other hand, it doesn't make the best economic sense. Yes, streaming prices are rising, but then with $20/month you get access to thousands of movies & TV shows. Or, for $20, you get one movie/TV show.
