@steipete The one thing I still can’t wrap my head around is navigation. Basically anything that’s more complicated than the simple examples. Are there any good open source apps to read source code for that?

@reidmain I’m the one at my company doing the follow ups for coding challenges. From your perspective - what would be the best possible answer in case of a no? A follow up call? A written code review?

I don’t understand companies who assign two hour homework when you apply and don’t guarantee you’ll get to review it with anyone. Why would I want to work on something for two hours, throw it over a fence and then just be told “no”.

When customers ask for a feature, there are two obviously wrong ways to respond: "No, we're not going to build that" and "Yes, we'll put it on the roadmap"
