@_la719 @lancesdarcyy The issues among and between the cast, director cutting scenes, jealous girlfriend, male lead being arrogant, unprofessional and a snob, production being unprofessional....all these are "allegedly" we have no receipts!

Macron calling himself a Pan Africanist is the worst insult to Pan Africanism in our generation. The fact that this insult has been uttered in Nairobi is even more painful

Removing Ruto in itself will be the biggest lesson ever to any politician. Anyone else who comes after that will have to deliver of face the same fate. The Citizenry will be emboldened more to demand better governance. So it is very IMPORTANT that we remove him.

One day we shall talk about how masochist Kenyan laws are about any form of ownership - business, skills, homes, vehicles, land, livestock etc. The ownership journey in Kenya feels like a punishment. Bribes, friction, licenses and rents, approvals. It is a yoke 1/n…

Death caused by illness is tragic, but death caused by a broken system is painful. Politicians are the ones enabling all these sufferings. Sasa ambulance imeenda kubebea gavana mahindi na patient anafaa kuenda referral.

We’re watching in 4k how this country truly operates - the blood spilling /walls go up against those pushing for the right thing. Assets sold to the highest bidder, goon promotion, spendthrift statehouse, collapsing institutions and the cementing of theft/thuggery as an ideology

I mourn the passing of Patrick Mukabi, the artist behind the iconic paintings in all Java House wall paintings. As a newbie journalist, my bery first assignment was to cover the story of how Mukabi memorialised the 1998 bombing of the US embassy in Nairobi. I have followed his work over the years and my best series from his collection was Market Women. Mukabi did a lot of work teaching youngsters to paint. But above all, he immortalised many aspects of Nairobi social life. He is a national treasure. The city of Nairobi owes him a great of gratitude. We need a City Arts Council to recognise such artists Wangui Maina and Dennis Onsarigo.

This is William Ruto at his PRIME at the presidency. At this point, the president was not listening to our complaints. He perhaps was acting on wrong advice or was simply being given good counsel that he ignored. He would appear in public with fancy Kaunda suits, expensive shoes, sunglasses, and a diamond/gold-coated watch. He was the king of the skies, flying from one country to another, speaking tough on how the West is undermining and mistreating Africa. Africans outside Kenya hailed him as a pan-Africanist because they didn't know the kind of man we were dealing with back home. The president, who had promised in his campaign trail to dismantle the oppressive system of dynasties, cartels, and the deep state, quickly got swallowed by it and, consequently, became its defender. William Ruto in his prime failed to listen to wise counsel. He failed to understand that power belongs to people and leaders are just custodians of power. He kept adding more promises, which he not only knew were unattainable but also were not making sense. He failed to drop the campaign mood and continued crisscrossing the country and exchanging tough talk with the opposition then. He failed to double-check his inner circle, who were leading him astray. President William Ruto will be forever an example of bad leadership in our country. No amount of fancy stadiums, houses, markets, airstrips, and roads that he will build will remove the stain. The most sensible thing from my angle of view is for the president to stand down from the upcoming elections and disappear quietly into retirement; perhaps then, Kenyans may calm their fury.
