The way this cavity looks, I just know that it is extremely painful 😭🦷 take dental care seriously before “small tooth pain” turns into sleepless nights and tears.

@agbeks__ This is so sad, but it happens a lot. Calling beatings "love" or "correction" keeps women stuck. We need to teach girls they deserve better, not to just endure pain. Education is the real fix

“He only hits me when I do something wrong” is such a painful sentence because it shows how deeply some women were conditioned to normalize abuse instead of recognizing it for what it is. The way patriarchy teaches women to endure suffering and call it love will always be heartbreaking to witness. I genuinely wonder how many women have gone through this and still going through it. Cause what do you mean “he has given me life , despite being a girl child”
Agbeks😍@agbeks__

I genuinely don’t think people talk enough about how dangerous patriarchy is to women mentally. Watching some women normalize suffering, mistreatment or even abuse because they were raised to see it as “part of love” is honestly heartbreaking. The saddest part is realizing that many women were never taught they deserved softness, safety, respect or healthy love in the first place. And in societies where these beliefs are deeply rooted culturally, especially in places like India, it becomes even more disturbing to witness. Cause the video I saw right now just made me feel so sad.

@ehvrmony First love sets the bar so high it becomes a ghost that haunts every “almost.” Therapy helps, but healing starts when you stop comparing and start rewriting your own standards.

He was her first everything. First kiss, First relationship, First s*x, First heartbreak. They broke up in their second year. She never fully recovered. She dated other people. She even got engaged in her final year. But, she called off the wedding. She said, "I keep comparing everyone to him, and they don’t match." She is now in therapy, trying to let go of a ghost from the past. Is it possible to ever fully get over your first love, or do they always live somewhere in your heart?

My neighbour once knocked on my door late at night asking to borrow my WiFi because his own network was down for an “urgent work meeting.” I hesitated but eventually agreed. About an hour later, I noticed he was still outside my house on his phone, clearly still using it. I went out and told him I was about to sleep and needed to switch it off. He got upset and said I embarrassed him in front of his client and “should have just let him finish since it wasn’t costing me anything.” I told him it wasn’t about cost, I just needed my privacy and rest. Since that night, he’s been giving me attitude whenever we meet in the compound. So now I’m wondering, was I wrong for cutting it off?

She came to me one day looking pitiful. “My TV just died, the children are driving me crazy, and I don’t have money to fix it yet.” Being the kind neighbor I thought I was, I smiled and said, “No problem! Let them come and watch TV in my apartment.” Big mistake. The next evening, not only did the children show up… the whole family rolled in like it was a cinema premiere. By 11 p.m., they were still comfortably parked on my couch, shouting at the screen, while I had already retreated to my bedroom. I didn’t have the heart to tell the kids to go home. This went on for a whole week. Every single night. Finally, I couldn’t take it anymore. I started switching off all the lights by 8 p.m. and pretending to sleep. The darkness worked. They got the message and slowly stopped coming.

Tell me something you once did for your neighbor that made you say to yourself “never again”.

@munahtee Some people don’t abuse kindness immediately… they settle in slowly until your house starts feeling like public property 😭
