Sure, you might be a fan of public transit, but are you a "get a tattoo of your local transit system" fan? Because as of yesterday, I am. @MARTAtransit, I'm ready to join the secret MARTA fan club now.

I also hate it because more people should use the bus! Which would be a lot easier if it ran more reliably and more frequently than every 30 minutes.

I love riding the bus on the weekends because you usually have it almost all to yourself.

"We don't want to be urbanized!" = "We paid good money to segregate ourselves and we don't want *those* people coming into our neighborhoods." "Transit increases crime!" = "I think people are going to take the train to steal my TV and gilded garden gnomes!"

My feelings on being a pedestrian in Atlanta.

Meanwhile, one in five children in GA are living in poverty. This isn't about protecting kids, it's about criminalizing trans people and riling up conservative voters. Trans kids are already at horrifyingly high risk of self-harm and state Republicans just made it worse. #gapol

This is purely political persecution. These are people who were exercising their 1st Amendment rights to try and protect the environment and in some cases, people who weren't even protesting - just going to a concert or getting food. The entire "justice" system has failed here.

Hear me out: abolish all cars on Ponce and North Avenue within five blocks of Ponce City Market, at least on Saturdays. Is this a good idea? I have no idea. It just feels right.

Just stop and think about this for a minute — what if YOUR city transformed a key main street this coming summer (like Montreal did with #MontRoyal, actually one of TEN such street transformations last summer) into a 2.5km long pedestrian promenade & living room with 2700 seats?
