Without them, we probably wouldn’t be celebrating #IndieAnimationDay ! They are some of my favorite sources of Dopamine these days! But please, PLEASE get out there and support us little guys too! The ones with no fundraising campaigns, grants or big-name endorsements! And, no, I’m not just talking about my stuff with @Fpencartoons … Do some digging… there’s GREAT STUFF out there! It’s not as slick and polished, but it’s got a raw sincerity that can’t be ignored! If you’ve go something like that going on, put your link in the replies and I’ll be happy to boost it! If indie animation - and indie media in general - is to thrive, it needs an ACTIVE audience… not passive consumers. This is an opportunity to change the viewer/media relationship entirely - from one of distant alienation to direct involvement and investment! Wouldn’t you rather support something that actually values your attention? That’s US!
