12:20 AM: One person dead, 2 others transported w/ no vital signs from a crash at Bramalea Rd & Steeles Av, #Brampton. Police say a car ran a red light and hit a flatbed truck. The car caught fire, victims were found after it was extinguished. Major Collision Bureau investigating

House seriously damaged after a portable crane hit the roof while it was being used to install a pool, on Litchi Court in Richmond Hill this afternoon. Operator was rescued by @RHFES. Ministry of Labour is investigating.

2:45 AM: Boy believed to be in his mid-teens shot in the chest on Darcel Avenue in Malton. Victim was transported to trauma centre by @Peel_Paramedics with critical injuries. Police were canvassing the area for witnesses and surveillance video.

11 PM: 12-year-old boy with serious injuries after being shot four times in an apartment complex courtyard on Falstaff Av, near Jane St & Hwy 401. Police say they believe there was more than one shooter, they fled in vehicles. Numerous shell casings were on the ground. #Toronto

2:50 AM: A female is dead from a reported homicide in an apartment building on Culford Road, near Lawrence Av & Black Creek Dr. The victim was covered in blood when emergency crews arrived, she died on scene. No suspect information. #Toronto

12:20 AM: A toddler is dead after being hit by a car in the driveway of a home on Royal Salisbury Way in #Brampton. A witness says the child was struck by the family car. Approximately one-year-old was rushed to hospital with no vital signs. Major Collision Bureau investigating.

Trinity Bellwoods Park: Supporters of the encampment formed a human chain to try and stop city officials from evicting the occupant of a tent. There are dozens of police and other municipal enforcement staff here, they've given people two hours to leave. #Toronto @CBCToronto

Motorcyclist killed in a crash with a car on Bovaird Drive east of Highway 410 in #Brampton late last night. The motorcycle burst into flames upon impact, driver pronounced dead on scene. Area was closed overnight, Major Collision Bureau is investigating.

1:15 AM: Two people shot in a car parked at a townhouse complex on Lawrence Av east of Scarborough Golf Club Rd. Male victim pronounced dead on scene, female rushed to hospital. The car is riddled with bullets. #Toronto
