@College_Crosse Agreed I was surprised they didn't play Raio at attack during the year much less this game. With Fig on Petro he was mostly taken out. They needed to go to Raio because the other attackmen were mostly non factors.

@JeremyCuse They just don’t have any other initiators. Dom Petro looked like a fish out of water trying to dodge. I thought they hurt themselves with the yo-yo’ing of Duffy in/out. Carc had it right they should have tried Raio at attack. Cuse prob wins either way, but that was their shot

If Duffy isn't healthy, I don't think there's any sense in him starting for Carolina In that case, it feels like the game probably has to rest on Carolina's all-freshman midfield line to be the difference makers. Sort of a scary position to be in, but they do have the talent

@College_Crosse As a Syracuse fan I've seen some absolutely horrific clearing games against the 10 man but Gtown is by far the worst I've ever seen. Luckily for them UVA couldn't stop going offsides

@College_Crosse The final four last year while nice actually was a detriment long term as Gait isnt the answer. His teams have been plagued with the same issues since he took over in 21. Hes not the answer and I fear the bottom falls out next year. They'll be lucky to beat Army next week.

Cuse: 0-4 vs teams 1-5 in RPI 3-0 vs teams 6-10 in RPI 4-1 vs teams 11-20 in RPI That sort of sums up their season to this point

@College_Crosse Hard to believe this is Maryland. I mean I thought the Hype on the Yale transfers was a bit much ans Spanos is clearly not 100% but 1 goal in a must win game like this wow. They looked Rutgers level lost offensively.

@College_Crosse 100%, I watched a # of their games. The 10 man was a detriment as much as a help at time. They gotta be able to play it straight up at times especially at thay point. Carolina I think had fallen into this trap a bit to which with their athletes makes no sense.

@JeremyCuse Time and score and it kinda feels like they've butted up into a ceiling with it too. It's definitely their gimmick but they've got enough talented players I don't know that it has to be such a central part of their ID anymore. They're not less talented than say Loyola anymore

In a season of teams living and far more often dying by the 10-man, BU running the 10-man and giving up a one on one with 50 secs left in OT after Lehigh's first settled possession in OT went nowhere is just too perfect. No other way it could end

Absolutely gut wrenching loss for Johns Hopkins today 🤯 Should be 2-0 in B10 and 7-2, instead they drop to 6-3 (1-1 B10) with a brutal stretch ahead. The lack of execution in the final 10 seconds could be what keeps Hopkins out of the tournament.
