My review of Christopher Nolan's "The Odyssey": Rushed overall, terrible opening monologue, Elliot Page sucks, the scenes are goofy as hell. Walked out during the cyclops scene.

The Odyssey is tough for me man. On one hand, you have my favorite director, who's put out nothing but straight gas for decades. Interstellar, Inception, and The Prestige are three of my all time favorites. That's not to mention The Dark Knight Trilogy, Dunkirk, etc. (cont)

The Odyssey is set up for a catastrophic weekend. I checked two Dallas Theaters for this Saturday.. Thousands of empty seats including Imax.

The “Odyssey” is at 98% Critics Score on Rotten Tomatoes. None of these critics had any problem with this Oscar bait. But Christopher Nolan obviously hijacked this story to push Woke activism. Only Hollywood would take one of the West’s greatest literary achievements and turn it into a DEI jobs program. • Biological female Elliot Page is cast as Sinon, one of Greece’s “greatest warriors.” • Zendaya is cast as “bright-eyed” Athena, whom the Greeks envisioned as one of them. • Lupita Nyong'o is cast as Helen of Troy, “the face that launched a thousand ships.” What is wrong with Hollywood? Just wait until the audience score hits…
