Comment by @caremessage Super interesting one about the deficiencies of the bulk FHIR criteria. Likes Subscriptions and bulk FHIR updates, but has practical suggestions like an "all patients" group, support for "_elements", and ensuring backend auth is usable for both bulk FHIR and regular FHIR. Luckily HTI-2 includes that last part already in the proposed rule - hopefully will be finalized! great comment for similar reasons to Defacto regulations.gov/comment/HHS-ON…

@healthapiguy @caremessage Thanks Brendan! Hoping to see some significant improvements to interoperability, especially for Bulk FHIR in the final rule.

a selection of my favorite hti-2 comments (will update as more come in) make sure to comment! regulations.gov/commenton/HHS-… rules of thumb: 1. do an attachment PDF 2. don't do anonymous, that's lame 3. only comment on parts you know about 4. cement your comment in real world experience

@MariumBoulus Thank you for sharing all this. We are scheduled to arrive next Sunday into CDG and stay in 7th Arr. I have been concerned, but it’s hard to tell where specifically things are bad. Appreciate your recent report and helpful details!

Part 6: While in Paris, specifically the West Bank (7th district), people were out and about, no trash was on the streets and all forms of transportation were running normally. I did hear constant police sirens during my 2 nights there.

How do you handle >100Million messages w/ an engineering team of <20? Hire great people, build high quality software, & provide clarity on how to operate. This week a sad layoff was the one at InVision where ~50% of the company is gone, as is their founder CEO. Talking with engineers working there, Figma ate (and is eating) their market for lunch. I still remember using InVision everywhere in 2014-15… From @Pragmatic_Eng:

@GergelyOrosz @Pragmatic_Eng I love to hear that! I discovered the product as a user in 2014 and it really was magical at the time! Agreed, it really is sad to see. Incredible team and once magical product 😢

@JeremyWight @Pragmatic_Eng You have far more insight than me. What I do remember is they were dominating the field and we used them at Skyscanner extensively 2014-15. And now they seem irrelevant, and on what seems an admit of defeat (CEO/founder stepping down + these huge layoffs). It’s sad to see.
