This feels wild to say, but I'm more of a YouTuber than a podcaster now. The podcast started in March 2020 and we started producing videos in July 2022. Today, we often get more video views than podcast downloads per episode. And downloads aren't even a great podcasting metric – really what you want is listens. So if we're honest about CONSUMPTION, our YouTube channel is already reaching more people than the podcast. Now, retention in audio is still stronger. I think the relationships and trust I've built in audio are stronger than in video. But as far as pure reach...video has surpassed audio and is growing at a much faster rate.

Community managers: a great way to get engagement/discussion is to open a conversation about being in nature (with pictures). It can be a nice break in your normal community routine and a welcomed reminder about the benefits of shutting off the screen and getting outside.

@Cabbyfromgreene Agree. He was excellent defensively too. I think some things I've been interpreting as less energy/effort on defense are actually him trying not to pick up fouls. Became a lot of more evident tonight.

@Tyler_T15 @Cabbyfromgreene That's one way to look at it. On the other hand, he's shooting poorly and had a couple of bad plays, which would make many freshman clam up ... yet he just keeps playing with confidence. That's impressive. Turnovers happen to all good offensive players.

My wife, as many of you know, is an A&M and Packers fan. We were just discussing how #iubb is basically our last chance to salvage this sports year. Early returns look good. Friday will tell us a lot.
