Gender-affirming care spans all medical specialties, and should be part of training and practice for dermatologists. This study evaluated effectiveness, safety, and treatment barriers to isotretinoin therapy for transmasc patients on T. Thank you to this amazing team!

Masculinizing gender-affirming hormonal therapy can result in acne. In this multicenter case series, isotretinoin was often effective and well tolerated among those receiving MHT. However, barriers to care were common and associated with worse outcomes. pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/38809569/
