@wardll No argument from me but I suspect he'll leave soon If he's teaching Bible in China, he's breaking the law. Normally, he'd get warned first but if persistent, deported However, if his voice is important and influential, it shouldn't matter where he finds sanctuary - should it?

@Jerry_grey2002 Professor Jiang is a great communicator who puts today’s madness into some kind of context. He only ‘teaches’ the bible as an important and incredibly influential historical text, not as religion. I hope China continues to give him safe harbour. His voice is precious.

The PLA regularly sends large formations of warplanes into Taiwan’s ADIZ, crosses the Taiwan Strait median line, and runs full encirclement drills simulating a blockade of Taiwan. It has also fired missiles into waters around the island and maintains constant naval pressure nearby. This is sustained military coercion designed to wear down Taiwan and normalize a siege without declaring war. Now you know.

When I was a kid growing up in a healthy, grounded society in Switzerland, devouring science fiction book after science fiction book… never in my wildest dreams did I imagine that in my own lifetime I would witness this: A spectacle broadcast to millions around the world, starring: - France’s First “Lady”: an ex-teacher whose gender remains hotly debated, a convicted pedophile who abused her own student > the very same student, now a homosexual, egocentric Rothschild banker, who has risen to become President of France. - An American First Lady who married a billionaire accused of raping women and tied to a pedophile ring that allegedly tortured, raped, and murdered children. - And a robot. These figures stand before us, lecturing humanity with straight faces. Welcome, my friends… to the new “normal.”

You're politely wrong. “We make no promise to renounce the use of force and reserve the option of taking all necessary means,” Xi said, adding that the issue was an internal one and that China would permit “no external interference”. The constant harassment of Taiwan by the PLA reinforces this policy.

This is truly insane, and it should be front page news across America.  Denmark secretly deployed soldiers to Greenland prepared to blow up airport runways to stop a U.S. invasion. They brought blood supplies to treat the wounded. France, Germany, Norway, and Sweden quietly coordinated against us. This was not a drill. This was our closest allies preparing to fight Americans. Let that sink in. NATO allies. Countries whose soldiers have fought and died alongside ours for decades. They looked at this president and decided they had to prepare for the worst. Fewer allies does not make America great. It makes us more isolated, more vulnerable, and it hands Russia and China exactly what they have always wanted: an America abandoned by its friends. As a humanitarian gesture, China, with a population of 1.4 billion people could probably supply the entire population of Cuba (11 million people) with enough solar capacity to entirely eliminate Cuba’s reliance on fossil fuels. They should do it.
