Great Steelers insider Nick Farabaugh says on @937thefan that the Steelers won't be trading for WR Brian Thomas Jr. Because the Steelers don't want to meet the Jaguars asking price. Which includes a 1st round pick. NFL free agency begins at noon on Monday.

@eriktaylor @RealAlexJones Easy one for u —> why is Hillary testifying and Melania not ? I am not saying Hillary shouldn’t be testifying… just curious why no one is pointing fingers to Melania when she actually went to the island and knew Epstein and Maxwell

The pundits can say if this way or that way the game went can be argued either way! Rebutall anything with If Darnell didn’t simply fumble on way to TD get a field goal and it’s 32-24 outa reach!

If The Steelers & Mike Tomlin decide to part ways this offseason, one of the top guys on my list that I'd be thrilled to be next head coach of the Pittsburgh Steelers is former Alabama head coach Nick Saban. Now, Saban would need to come out of retirement & I can certainly understand why Steelers fans would want a younger option compared to the 74 year old Saban, but hear me out on this one. First, if the Steelers are looking to re-instill a championship-level culture to get the most out of the rest of the careers of players like Cam Heyward and T.J. Watt, Saban is arguably the greatest culture builder in the history of football, with his 'process' based approach being the stuff of legend. Second, Saban's man-match defensive philosophy is still greatly applicable to the modern NFL game, as most NFL teams utilize some form of his man-match principles he started in Cleveland with Belichick back in the day and perfected at Alabama over the years. Also, Pittsburgh's defensive personnel is already built to run a heavy man-match system the second he would arrive, as the Steelers are one of the more effective quarters teams in the entire NFL this season. Third, Saban's connections inside the NFL would allow him to build one of the best staffs in the entire NFL and make Pittsburgh a destination for free agents, especially the one's who played for Saban at Alabama. I could easily see Brian Daboll being the pick at Offensive Coordinator, and as someone who has called plays at both the college and pro ranks, Daboll is extremely qualified to help transition young QBs to the NFL level, evidenced by his development of Josh Allen in Buffalo and Jaxson Dart this year in New York. With the Steelers likely to draft a QB in next year's NFL Draft, Daboll would be one of the top guys I'd trust to develop that QB into the next great Steelers QB. In terms of the likelihood of Saban coming out of retirement, Colin Cowherd 'reported' back in July that it's the 'worst kept secret' that Saban would take a call from the NFL if the right opportunity presented itself. And if any opportunity could be the 'right opportunity' for him, why wouldn't it be to coach the Steelers, the team he grew up in West Virginia rooting for as a kid, not to mention he'd be in position to choose who he'd want as his franchise QB with the Steelers set to be seeking a new starting signal-caller next offseason, something that was a big reason he left the NFL the first time around in Miami after the Dolphins failed to get him his preferred QB target, Drew Brees. Then, when Saban would eventually get to the point where he would finally be done coaching, hopefully at that point he would have an heir apparent already in the building (Daboll?) that would take the reigns as the next 'long-term' answer at the head coaching position here in Pittsburgh. By the way, I fully acknowledge this idea is probably not going to end up happening, but man, it's hard for me to find a better option for the Steelers out there if they're looking to turn things around quickly over the next few years.

@ThePoniExpress Frank Reich fared better against the Houston Oilers than Jim Kelly but it doesn’t mean he was a better QB. Those are facts.
