Reflecting on the fact that it’s my birthday today! A year ago I decided to quit my job to really focus in on my two main goals, writing and becoming a second-time Mom. Here I am, a year later, and I’ve got somewhere around 7 weeks until I realize one of these goals.

Got a rejection that hit so hard today I’m not sure if I can go on with the querying journey. I think I’ll be taking a break from X for awhile but I wish everyone in the #writingcommunity the best and I’m so happy I found this community ♥️

Did I write 9k words today to finish my POE sequel? Yes. Yes, I did. And what a tremendously bittersweet moment this is for me. 😭🥹 I have some major trimming and editing to do, but at least the DRAFT IS DONE!!
