 ML Party-list Rep. Leila de Lima pushes back against Senator Robin Padilla’s stance on the possible blocking of the impeachment court’s convening once the Articles of #Impeachment against Vice President #Sara #Duterte reach the Senate.
 De Lima, the House Senior Deputy Minority Leader, rejected the position, stressing that the role of the minority is not to obstruct proceedings outright.
 “That’s not my understanding of our job here,” De Lima said. She emphasized that while the minority is expected to fiscalize and oppose questionable measures, it should not oppose everything by default.
 “We fiscalize, we oppose… but we’re not supposed to be an obstructionist,” she said. @News5PH
