@feminterrupted cause they don’t want friendships & support systems—definitely not from other men. they want a woman to be their therapist, maid, mommy, friend, & sex doll. they’re missing out on receiving platonic love & family bonds because of this & unequipped to give it for the same reason

What is this?! The shipping insurance costs more than 30% of the $164 chair? Then the way they word it is I don’t care about the planet if I don’t purchase this? And it definitely sounds like I’m gonna get a broken chair if I don’t pay it. Has anyone not gotten it before?

@AuthorTonyaInk I remember when a bunch of us were on this app 24/7. I was always more excited to share makeup I’ve done on here more than any other app because we actually talked on here. I miss that part but other than that I’m good on the hateful words I see here daily.

On my way to work this morning Luke Combs’ version of Tracy Chapman’s “Fast Car” came on, which obviously sparked me to listen to the original. The original felt like it MEANT something. Even my elementary school self knew it wasn’t about a boy & a girl. His ain’t that.

@msolurin What breaks my heart is this is common place in most privately owned prisons in our country. No real state oversight so they can get away with pretty much anything. Their only concern is how much money they can get out of the incarcerated person’s families while they are there.

@nolleprosequi2 But they never follow them. Just put a reason why the funds can’t be given out. Mine was “questionable identity”. I’ve never had any issues w my identity. Their worker typed my bday in wrong when I did my initial filing bc their website was down so I had to do in over the phone

@nolleprosequi2 I ended up having to take a loan out to cover the house bills while I was looking for a new job. Interest on a loan while your unemployed is rough. That’s definitely an option. They had to sue before to get the “21 day” deadline for determinations to be made in each case

Amount of time things should show up on background checks is so unbelievably frustrating. It makes things like “ban the box” pointless in helping someone with a record actually get hired. I have a non-violent, non theft or money related crime from 2011 (simple possession) /2

There is something awesome about seeing your friends experiencing the world like little kids with brand new eyes. We have this rad park near where I live and that was always stop number one on the journey

guys omg when me and my ex of 7 years broke up and he was moving out. on his last moving day, we stared at each other in the doorway of our room and said “what happened to us” as tears streamed down our faces. isn’t that so fucking sad? i think about it sometimes still…

@gaialect But I was right, I have never loved that purely & innocently again. The separation felt like a snowball rolling downhill & I couldn’t stop it. I still think about what would have been if I would have stayed. Especially at major life events for our son. Graduation was hard (end)

@gaialect Back. I still remember my breath catching as I signed my name with his last name still attached-realizing I would never love that purely again. He did get sober a few years later & has been the most amazing father to our son. It was all worth it for him to have that with our son
