Impossible to poll this but would bet higher proportion of people who read this area of X had sleep paralysis. Even into my late 20’s, I would dread falling asleep. Eventually it went away, or I think so.

Anyone arguing that minor damage to a US aircraft, sustained while lollygagging over hostile airspace is an epoch altering event is arguing the US military is so strong that the mere damaging of one of its weapons is a great feat.

We got hit with whooping cough and then this new so-called rhinovirus. It's way worse than Covid. I've been up and down for about the last six weeks. Hacking and out of breath. Almost zero media coverage on it tho. Makes me wondered if it was engineered. This shit is NASTY.

Two unpopular opinions on the Minneapolis shooting: 1. The woman who died was at fault. She was acting erratically, inserted herself into a dangerous situation, and behaved in a way that put both herself and others at serious risk. 2. The ICE agent acted on instinct and fired too quickly. He should not have escalated to lethal force in that moment. We need full body cam footage to understand exactly what he perceived, but based on the video available, it does not appear his life was in immediate danger as the vehicle was moving away. The left is already calling this blatant murder. The right is already claiming the woman was trying to kill the agent. Neither narrative is accurate. The woman who died acted dangerously and recklessly, and the ICE agent drew and fired his weapon too fast. If both sides don’t pause the political posturing and focus on de-escalation, Minneapolis is headed toward another night of chaos just like George Floyd. ICE should temporarily pull back from the community, and leaders on the left need to clearly and forcefully call for calm and nonviolence. There’s almost no chance both of those things happen, which means this situation will likely get ugly and Minneapolis could burn again. I know this take won’t make me popular with either side but it’s just my initial thoughts on situation.

What are your thoughts on Allie Stuckey? Is it wrong for a woman to openly share her faith? Allie isn't involved in Church leadership and holds no authority over men, but some are saying it's still not appropriate for her to discuss the Gospel on her own platform.

You should probably unfollow me. If you came to know me through my work in conservative media, you need to know I'm not that person anymore. I've shed old values and principles that no longer align with my new worldview. I no longer toe political or class lines. I question everything, distrust everyone, and will not be cowed by the old guard. I'm not going back to who I used to be, and I have no interest in engaging with those of you who want me to be who I once was: a conservative christian with anti-feminist leanings. I have flipped. And it was many of you who flipped me. I saw the darkness of the side I defended for so long. The intrinsic misogyny. The slavish devotion to "thought leaders." The refusal to question the narrative fed since birth. Now I'm interested, nay obsessed, with learning everything I had shut myself off to. I would like to use my social channels and platforms to engage with others who are questioning the same: the narratives they were once taught, worldviews they were conditioned to believe, teams they were told to pledge allegiance to. Out with the old to make room for the new.
