Shoutout to my partner's doctor for calling me back so quickly this morning & alleviating my worries about his COVID symptoms. We are truly lucky to have great Healthcare providers in Ontario and we MUST protect them at all costs.

Sometimes I just want a landline, a bike ride to Becker's, and a Saturday evening courtesy of Blockbuster. #MillennialNostalgia

Is there like, an outdoor karaoke night in Norwood or have the forest ghosts got themselves a mic? Because a slightly off-key rendition of "Love Shack" is floating hauntingly through the night air.

So... I guess I gotta BBQ a bunch of meat this afternoon... Also, using my car as a generator to charge my phone feels sacrilegious.

@JessMelnik @HydroOne On your property may be your own problem. May need to hire your own independent contractor.

Anyone know how to report a tree on a powerline on our property? I've tried calling the designated line but there is no answer or there's a notice saying call volumes are too high. The app/online doesn't allow downed line reporting. Should we just keep trying? #ONStorm @HydroOne

@HydroOne Thank you! When I call & follow the prompts to report damage/downed lines, I get a message saying I can't be transferred due to call volume & I'm redirected back to the website, which then directs me to call... etc. Should I just keep trying?

These "restocking" & "bulk meal prepping" TikToks makin' me feel bad. Like, I need a nap after buying groceries. Are they hobbies? Is one meant to work full time & do these tasks? And how're they doing it all with kids, because I have 2 dogs who take up nearly 90% of my energy.

Please tell me I'm not the only one who gets mask lines on my face. If I take my mask off to have a bite to eat, I look like I just had a nap on the couch.

If we are going to make MAiD more accessible for people, then we have a duty & moral obligation to make housing, harm reduction services, mental health & income supports, more accessible too. ctvnews.ca/health/woman-w…

@djvanness @twpiggott This bleak reality is why we've tried so hard to stay COVID-free. But still, it found us. Now that infection has occurred, what does one look out for? Should tests be sought? Are lifestyle changes required?

Emphasizing preventions that WILL help, are LOW cost & are NOT harmful is critical now: - Wear your mask - Stay home if sick, test & if eligible 💊 - Improve ventilation (home, schools, work, public spaces) - Keep up to date with COVID-19 vaccinations (3 for most, 4 for some)

I'm concerned the discussion now in pandemic, & the 6th wave we are into in #Peterborough & #Ontario is just focused on preventing hospitalizations & death. Maintaining hospital capacity & preventing severe disease are important, but even 'mild' illness impacts are concerning.

COVID Twitter stresses me out. We have been so cautious, sometimes to the point of eye rolls. It still found us. And the long-term outlook from experts - about the pandemic & about the bio effects of the virus - offers little consolation. 2 years later - tired & still scared...

What's the recommendation on rapid testing when you're in a house with a Covid+ person? We're trying desperately to conserve our few RATs. My partner & I, who are currently isolating with no symptoms, decided to test ourselves at the end of his son's quarantine. Good idea? Bad?

Read this story till the end. During WWII some children were making diaries from concentration camps & occupied cities by nazis. History is repeating. This is a diary of Katya, a 16 years old girl from Mariupol, whose mother died in the basement👇😢
