@Kiby3Xbs9h @SamTheLucioFan Maybe in masters or gm, so sub 5% of players. For the rest it's endless stall/choke fests, nothing died till ult, half the map ignored in favor of deathball or bunker comps holding one spot, and most abilities got sponged up by mitigation. Silver-diamond in ow1, I saw them all.

@SamTheLucioFan 2016 overwatch is not the same as 2020 overwatch, which was MILES better than any iteration of OW2 ever and is impossible to play

I played the original Overwatch litteraly just now. The classic mode is in the game as we speak??? People just be saying shit. Also it aged horribly. I will never understand that people prefer og Overwatch vs current Overwatch

It’s insane that you literally cannot play the original Overwatch anymore, it is completely unpreserved in any form all because it got a pointless “sequel” that replaced it. I haven’t played Overwatch since 2017, so knowing I can never again play a game I paid full price for is disconcerting.

@aaannonnnnn @onlystuffilike @LeftyWinter I've talked to many people who were able to actually do that. Unlike you they were able to understand the utility of inductive evidence, the flow and expectations of communication at a social level, and were kind and interesting, where you feel like talking to a chatgpt lawyer.

Never thought I'd be listening to Hasan on twitch. He's actually more agreeable than I thought he would be.

@aaannonnnnn @onlystuffilike @LeftyWinter You don't get those, that's not an option on the table currently in American politics. We sometimes have to support a candidate with flaws, hoping an ongoing genocide will change minds and hearts that may be wrong due to distance from the reality. Instead, he got a brain nerf.

@JesseBammann @onlystuffilike @LeftyWinter And even if you did establish a causal link, which you haven’t, that still doesn’t justify Hasan’s tailism given how Fetterman’s pro-Israel tendencies didn’t emerge in a fucking vacuum & there’s no way for you retards to hold him accountable now. Zero guarantees.

@aaannonnnnn @onlystuffilike @LeftyWinter I'm not saying that, you are for no reason. Everyone knows, no one says his supports post-stroke, because we remember and can look up prior statements... Other people have brains too. Please stop strawmaning, get over yourself, and actually read what's said to you like an adult.

@aaannonnnnn @onlystuffilike @LeftyWinter See how my position makes sense, has nuance, and is a reasonable explanation that encompasses your argument but isn't flat and pedantic? It's because instead of treating life like a courthouse I treat it like life, with nuance and consideration for change. Maybe try it sometime.

@JesseBammann @onlystuffilike @LeftyWinter Your position requires assuming a stroke changed positions that never actually changed, while ignoring his pre-stroke record entirely. You keep dodging it because it collapses your entire argument.

@aaannonnnnn @onlystuffilike @LeftyWinter I'm saying he held those positions, then got more aggressive and less empathetic from a stroke, making him more likely to not open his eyes or heart to new information from an ongoing genocide. More likely to get angry and double down rather than maybe reconsider, as many have.

@aaannonnnnn @onlystuffilike @LeftyWinter In social parlance that's not the standard of evidence used for discussion, and it just makes you seem annoying and pedantic to act like we're in a courthouse on Twitter or speaking to people in regular context. Just a tip man.

@JesseBammann @onlystuffilike @LeftyWinter Thank you for conceding your “evidence” wouldn't hold up in court. It’s not evidence at all. My explanation for Fetterman's pro-IL & pro-law enforcement stance is simply that he held those positions before the stroke. That's parsimonious.

@aaannonnnnn @onlystuffilike @LeftyWinter I and every non-maga adult know that, you think you see something other's don't, and it's both crazy arrogant and incorrect. I'll try once more. I'm not trying to prove beyond doubt, that's not a good use of resources or necessary. Just that it makes enough sense to be probable.

@JesseBammann @onlystuffilike @LeftyWinter Except you haven’t addressed the pre-stroke evidence showing the same positions existed already, so you aren’t examining the event properly. You’re just assuming causation without evidence. Correlation doesn’t imply causation holy shit dude.

@aaannonnnnn @onlystuffilike @LeftyWinter You are unironically a terrible person to speak to, I wanted to assert that I didn't do what you said, but I have no desire to continue speaking to you. You don't even read what other people say, you're just soapboxing. It's kinda sad.

@JesseBammann @onlystuffilike @LeftyWinter That’s exactly what you’re doing, dumbass. Working backwards to form a conclusion. Your conclusion ignored that Fetterman held these positions BEFORE the stroke. The “change” you're explaining never happened. The link never said that.

@aaannonnnnn @onlystuffilike @LeftyWinter No man it's not supposed to be evidence enough to put him in jail. It's a social determination, one where people look at likely connections and make some safe, mild assumptions. That you're seemingly incapable of that is a you problem, it kinda makes you insufferable though. Bye.

@JesseBammann @onlystuffilike @LeftyWinter So we can just appeal to a broad cognitive mechanism and conclude that Fetterman shifted his entire political orientation due to a stroke because Jesse says so? And you’re also wrong about it cleanly lining up as his erratic behavior predated the stroke.

@aaannonnnnn @onlystuffilike @LeftyWinter Post hoc works backwards from conclusion, not looking at a situation, examining events around it that may influence it to occur, and drawing a conclusion from them. The link said it's common, try reading. Yes he was, it exacerbated his aggression and crippled his emotions...

@JesseBammann @onlystuffilike @LeftyWinter It’s not evidence at all. It’s fallacious post hoc reasoning that I’ve dismantled ad nauseum. You haven’t provided any research demonstrating this is common. And even if it were, it didn’t occur in a vacuum. He was already strongly pro-IL.

@aaannonnnnn @onlystuffilike @LeftyWinter So we literally have to study every single person's brain before we ever say anything no matter how obvious and common the relationship and outcomes are? That's absurd. That's not how life works. You're just saying silly stuff now man.

@aaannonnnnn @onlystuffilike @LeftyWinter It's not the type of evidence you are describing. You seem to think anything that's not 100% certain isn't evidence, that's false. Research demonstrating this is common is evidence, his behavior changes lining up with post-stroke symptoms is evidence. It's inductive evidence.

@aaannonnnnn @onlystuffilike @LeftyWinter So did near all Democrats, that's not the differential. What differentiates them is what actions and vocal stances he takes, what he does with new information as the war goes on. Many Dems used that to move away from Israel, he did the opposite. Probably cause his brain broke.

@JesseBammann @onlystuffilike @LeftyWinter Failed gaslighting. You’re getting really desperate lmao. All of the signs were there. It was widely known that Fetterman was pro-Israel & law enforcement prior to his stroke.

@aaannonnnnn @onlystuffilike @LeftyWinter You asked for studies that show they can change a person's political behavior. Are you genuinely trying to tell me strokes can change a person's behavior, attitude, mood, and entire personality, but that wouldn't change political stances that are mostly based off these things?

@aaannonnnnn @onlystuffilike @LeftyWinter It's not fallacious, it's just a type of reasoning you apparently dismiss, which is absurd it's valuable. We can't literally chase down every variable of every statement, we can though use inductive reasoning to look at known facts and current outcomes, and draw a likely answer.

@aaannonnnnn @onlystuffilike @LeftyWinter Jesus that's some debate-lording. To be clear, despite trying to big league, you failed. There's two types of reasoning, deductive, the one you're using, and inductive, the one myself/others are using. We can look at events to work backwards to draw a very likely conclusion too.

@JesseBammann @onlystuffilike @LeftyWinter So fucking what? That’s a pathetic post hoc fallacy unless you can show that the stroke specifically caused this shift, which you can’t. All of the signs were there BEFORE his stroke.

@aaannonnnnn @onlystuffilike @LeftyWinter Strokes are well documented to change people's behavior, they force parts of your brain that make you who you are to shut off and some never come back on. This makes no sense.
