@TheJasonPugh @MarkJCarney @PierrePoilievre Just because we are a member of the IEA and we don’t have an obligation to hold any reserves, doesn’t mean it would be a bad idea to hold a emergency reserve. We’re the only G7 nation that doesn’t hold emergency reserves.

NEW: B.C. Premier @Dave_Eby says proposed Alberta heavy oil pipeline “is not happening,” calls it a taxpayer-funded idea with no real route or proponent.

@Smil3yAngel He is supposed to meet with the premiers, that’s his job. It’s not the leader of the oppositions job to do the prime minsters job. Your point makes no sense….

While PP has been whining about Tamara Lich and Chris Barber (🤮), PM Mark Carney met with the Premiers. Carney is actually getting things done. Although I'm not a fan of some of the Premiers, I love that he's working with them. It shows a United front. Thank you, PM ❤️🇨🇦❤️

Peter Ratcliffe, forever Canadian 🇨🇦
Every dollar of US Tariffs is paid by US citizens to the US Treasury. The US Tariffs enable excessive spending and a continuation of tax cuts for the wealthy people, while average people pay most of the increased costs because of the tariffs. Rich get richer, poor get poorer.

@CheriDiNovo Alberta generally contributes more to the federal government than Ontario, especially when considering net contributions after receiving federal funding. Due to a combination of factors, including Alberta's higher per capita tax revenues and lower per capita federal spending.

@maxfawcett There is another factor as well as a lot of ranchers in our area are selling their beef/land off and retiring and no one is taking over. Driving more supply down, nobody wants to ranch anymore in our area. Ranching isn’t as cool as influencer jobs!!

@belle_levesque @PierrePoilievre You do realize end use tariffs that Francois is referring to is applied directly to us when we purchase the tariffed product. The company making it and the company importing don’t pay it. We do, it doesn’t hurt the US at all.

@MarkJCarney Can I ask a question why 74 percent of the cabinet members remained the same, this is a large portion of cabinet members that the Canadian public was unhappy with, why not actually form a new cabinet that would be a true new government?

@kim_gaetz 17 of 23 cabinet members were in cabinet under the previous government, he is warning Canadians we may see the same actions that Canadians grew weary of. Not a big deal to call that out, relax Kim-Bo

@Creek_Pete ChatGPT is free, seems to be a trend of cancelling energy projects between 2015-2020 that would have overall helped Canada in current trade war. The west definitly has grounds to feel like they are singled out and targeted by the east.

Anthony Stolarz left Scotiabank Arena on a stretcher. This wasn’t called a penalty. The real question is: How many games will Sam Bennett be suspended for? #LeafsForever

@MondoABx The truth is oil companies struggle to build projects in Canada due to the unpredictable political and legal environment that make it hard to quantify risk or cost accurately. That is why kinder Morgan walked and the fed’s were forced to buy it to complete it.

So the price of oil is plummeting and Danielle Smith wants more pipelines? She also mentioned free enterprise blah blah. Let the oil companies build the pipelines! No more taxpayer dollars subsidizing fossil fuels.
