I drew this ACEO in ink by me while sitting at a local wine bar drinking. I added watercolor and colored pencil a few days later at home in the studio.
Another two years passed after that before I checked myself into detox.
At that point in January 2012, I was downing 2 or 3 bottles of wine per day, smoking cigarettes plus using cannabis and taking over the counter T1’s everyday 24/7.
I’m surprised my liver survived.
It’s rather cathartic flipping through an album of art that you created and the having the memories associated with each piece surface.
Sober 14 years now.
