@MrCSpedBD Originally we were strongly recommended to work from our buildings but when covid cases went up again, we were asked to work from home.

@TeachMrReed We literally have the entire week next week AND Monday and Tuesday the week after before we are off. And yes, new content for all of it 👎🏼

How are you getting kids motivated for virtual learning? What strategies have you found to be effective?

What if we just changed the way instruction looks on behalf of the kids? Thinking project-based learning, integrated curriculum of all core content, without these core class silos. Higher motivation from students? More engagement?

Do you ever find that when watching an older movie or TV show, you think the people on the screen should be wearing a mask and social distancing? :)

@ChrisConohan I definitely agree here, but I also believe that our country has become more blatantly awful towards one another because our leadership makes it okay. When it’s not modeled, it’s not seen. We do need to be better, but having a true leader certainly wouldn’t hurt.

@kellywchris Going through the process themselves. Being okay with not having a set outcome but the learning being within the process.

@kellywchris Yes! I prefer open ended “what are you thinking now?” to a specific right-answer seeking response. Inquiry units are WAY more interesting in reading responses and learning about students.
