I just listened to Hasan Piker on Pod Save America and what I was struck by most was how genuinely dumb he actually is, despite believing himself to be a profound intellectual. He genuinely seems to think socialism is a new idea that has never been tried before.

I grew up a Leftist in a Leftist family. I identified as a Leftist when I voted for Kerry/Obama/HRC. I only started not identifying as a Leftist once I started interacting w/ online DSA/Tankie/"Leftists." I'm but one data point, but maybe that "wing" isn't so great at persuasion.

Israelis our descendants of legal immigrants, children born into conflict.
They are not evil.
They also have equally valid to the land as Palestinians do. Not only have they never fully left, maintaining a continuous presence under persecution for 3000 years, but the majority of Israelis there today are of Middle Eastern descent, and nearly 100% of Ashkenazi’s carry Levant DNA.
The more you deny their side of this struggle the longer it will go.
