They called it a tax cut. I call it the “Tim Tax.” In September Tim O’Hare pushed a budget that he claimed would save Tarrant County tax payers money. But (as usual) his math didn’t add up, so I didn’t vote for it. And a couple months later, we had to dip into our reserves for $7.8 million dollars just to keep things running. It doesn’t matter what political party you belong to. Being bad at math doesn’t make you fiscally conservative. It costs us money, and that’s the Tim Tax. I’m running for County Judge because we deserve better than this. And if nothing else, I know how to use a calculator.
