This is a bit of an off topic post but I feel like this is needed to be said right now but to all of my brothers and sisters, to the people who are not feeling the very best, to the people who may be from the other side of the world and found themselves in this community here(1)

@kyriakos_logo Me personally I think caring more about the update rather than the fact the devs lost a close friend if theirs shows how little compassion and empathy you have. The update will come out when they are ready to release it, not while they're grieving.

lowkey, this is why it’s so hard to take half of the rhtc serious. being more mad abt memorials and your posts not staying up, when the people at the helm of this community and game weren’t even 48 hours out from dealing with the grief of losing a friend was so…

this alone explained to me why the mods were hiding posts abt it & it’s exactly why I was okay with them doing so 💀 like are we braindead— hey yall, everybody on that dev team was closer to vioncii than ANY of us. they didn’t just lose a dev, they lost a FRIEND.

This might be the only platform in the world where you can open your heart about something serious, and somehow people with nothing better to do still choose to leave the most degenerate comments. Vioncii was such an inspirational person and a star who paved a way for creatives in the community to create His achievements, creations, and character inspires a lot of creators and artist to keep creating and put themselves in a spotlight -

I hope the devs start adding Vioncii's bags around the maps again like they used to do. Instead of being about the quest like they used to be, they would remind us that even though he's physically gone from this world, his impact and presence in the game will always be felt.

@chelexxy_ Honestly, the summer update doesn't even matter to me rn. I could care less when it comes out just as long asthe devs are taking care of themselves and taking time to grieve

@chelexxy_ Adding on, but I hope everyone understands that they weren't just coworkers on a game together and that they all were very close friends with him. Please give them grace and peace during this time. Grief is such a weird emotion to process and it's such a hard one too, as well.

i hope this is common sense by now however please do not hold the royale high devs up to our usual standards during this melancholy time period. they need time to rest too, even if that means the summer update isnt on time 💞 love yall lots!

can we PLEASE move past talking about how news of vioncii’s death was handled, and onto honoring him and everything he did for the community instead? we’ve somehow focused more on the discourse than HIM, his creations and his legacy. can we redirect our conversations to that </3

Sometimes people are surviving things you’ll never fully understand, and they’re doing it the only way they know how. There’s no perfect way to handle bad times, no guidebook for heavy days. I think everyone is just trying their best but imperfect. And I just send a big hug to anyone who is trying their best but having a hard time.
