Many commentators talk about the importance of so-called "soft skills" for leadership into the future. @IDEOU has (so appropriately) rebranded them as "power skills". Here's their brilliant list of 12 key power skills: 1) Cultivating joy 2) Meaningful collaboration 3) Small-scale experimentation 4) Grounding in purpose 5) Creating community 6) Frame shifting 7) Leading with empathy 8) Emotional proofreading 9) Making room for more voices 10) Leading with questions 11) Finding balance 12) Agility ideou.com/blogs/inspirat… Thank you @FerraroRoberto for the link & graphic

This week has been my 1st within my extended role as Deputy Service Lead. I’ve met wonderful people, observed such care & heard lots of innovative ideas across our provider services. This little 🍓seems like a lovely metaphor for our growth as a team.@DawnCronin10

@54035com I remember the first time I met you and you told me that your fear of Matrons was still acute 🤣. Happy nurses day!

On international nurses day don't forget that nursing provides a strong foundation for a variety of careers. It has shaped my approach every day, as a nurse, as a manager, a Trust Director, A commissioner, a DASS a Chief Executive..........

We took our UCB story over the bridge to our cousins in Wales. Thank you for listening to our journey with all its twists and turns. #healthANDsocialcare

Fantastic, funny, honest, hard hitting presentation by @Jesskrista “social care taught us a lot” ‘ready fire aim’ approach sounds a common approach across statutory service. Understanding your data is key. What goes wrong is so important to move on and succeed ❤️ 🙏🏽#RPBLearning

A brilliant (& challenging) guide & slide deck on how to measure/demonstrate the impact of system change from @Sys_innovation. Measuring system change requires a paradigm shift in our thinking, moving away from linear thinking about measuring "parts" of a system to understanding how well the system functions within its broader environment. To access these materials you have to join a network but it's very quick & there are other outstanding free resources on the site: t.co/kty3rEFEIJ

I didn’t get to speak on #longcovid but I wanted to highlight that our colleagues are not only living with Long Covid conditions physically but mentally as well. I know I am personally a shadow of the person I was before pandemic, and I know that I am not alone in this. #RCN22

@mrjamesob @3piecesofcake As a mom, particularly a mom of kids with sensory issues, seeing this breaks my heart. Would it have killed them to give the poor child some earplugs or something?
