Possible copium because I prefer Reese, but you’d think the Jets would want a 30 visit with Bailey if he was their intended pick. Certainly doesn’t hurt to have additional 1-on-1 time + Bailey has some character stuff that teams probably want clarification on. Just my two cents

Obviously Mark Pope is not good at his job and was never qualified for it, but you’d think that he would be able to accidentally land some of these top guys just by being the head coach at Kentucky

I don't believe this because before Reese settled in at LB he was working in the DL room with Larry Johnson. Now he may not have been doing as much pass rushing drills once he was moved to LB.

Everyone will point to "NIL has ruined March" & "Chalk Madness" after the first round. I think its partially true if told properly but its not that simple. BAD: B2B years of no 13+ seeds winning a game, 13 of 32 games decided by 20+ (most ever), Friday first day in R64 history with no double digit seed winning (Santa Clara though lol) Did have non powers win - High Point (12), VCU (11), SLU (9), Utah State (9). So what if they go on insane runs? The issue though is all 4 of those teams are the elite of mid major ball. Big NIL budgets, known great programs. Now yes, first time ever with B2B years no 13+ seeds winning. Other years: 2004, 2007, 2017, 2025. It DOES happen... But what about Furman & Siena, Wright State & Hofstra in their games? The games have been objectively better than last year. Santa Clara/UK, VCU/UNC, Furman/UConn, High Point/Wisco. AND we have Texas, Texas A&M, UCLA, Miami want to make "dark horse" runs. So is mid major Cinderella dead? Not entirely its been 2 years of more chalk that HAS happened in the past. But the standard for a mid major team winning in March might have increased bc of NIL investment & the portal and I don't love that for the majority of teams in the sport. Let's talk after R32 is over. Hopefully it gives us fun today & tomorrow!
