evil dead burn (2026): 4/10 i think i’ve become desensitized to modern evil dead’s approach to the ethos of the series; this is the worst by far, one note allegory of abuse, deadites have zero personality, just edgy french extremity with a few cool moments sprinkled in

wild at heart (1990): 9/10 one of lynch’s most compassionate works. nic cage doing the best elvis impression i’ve seen, the love me tender needledrop ending is one for the ages

Star Wars: The Phantom Menace (1999) Awfully paced mess with horrid dialogue, flat action and little to no fun world building. Just misses on almost everything the originals had going for them with one exception - Anakin, who saves the movie from being abyssmal. Still bad though
