Trump campaigned on bringing down the cost of living "starting on day one," and then: started a trade war; deported much of the farm workforce, bombed Iran, allowed healthcare subsidies to expire, cut food assistance, ran an interest-rate boosting deficit, and attacked fed independence.

Oh, look. He's naming another thing after himself. Trump-Kennedy Center, Trump Institute of Peace, Trump Ballroom, TrumpRx, Trump accounts, Trump Gold Card visas, Trump-class battleships, Trump banners on federal buildings, his face on our passports, Trump's signature on our money... NONE of this property should be in his name. It does not belong to him. It's all self-aggrandizing abuse of power.

Highlights from Breer: ~#Jets used a combo of tape, advanced analytics, & positive interviews to settle on Bailey. -#Jets had Sadiq graded well above available WRs. Thought there wasn’t a big gap between WRs they could get at 16 & WRs that were likely to be available at 33.

Dez Bryant
Dez Bryant@DezBryant·
I believe Lemon had the success he had because Jakobi Lane shared the field with him. I bet a lot of Lemon's targets came from being on the same side as Lane. Folks want to compare him to Steve Smith..and it's not close. Lemon is a borderline number 2 receiver…maybe number 3 in the NFL..he's a volume guy on a team that's not pass heavy. Barkley..Smith, Goedert..he's going to be fourth in target sharing no matter the system
🦅🔔🏀@Twiced_T

@DezBryant But how do you know how they will go about achieving success when the system will be completely different next year? 😂 Lemon plugs into a Puka/Kupp/JSN/ASB type role from similar style systems that Mannion will likely implement next year.

I LOVE Omar Cooper Jr.’s physicality. Lowkey reminds me of Dez Bryant 👀 Jets fans don’t worry about the “tweener” label, we’ve seen this before #JetUp #nfldraft

@maxtoscano1 Sure. But instead, they got two pass catchers because they want to score points and set up their '27 qb for success. We'll see what happens, but the vision is clear.

The problem I have with this is that nobody forced them to take a TE at 16. They could have taken Dillon Thieneman and Omar Cooper Or Makai Lemon and Kayden McDonald, or Makai Lemon and CJ Allen, and so on. The opportunity cost is real.
nick stasiak@1staz8

@maxtoscano1 The Jets really liked Omar Cooper. There was a lot of buzz about it predraft. So at 16 they took a tight end and then traded up to take the receiver they would have taken at 16 anyway.

Bailey can get after the QB and that’s always going to be valued. I preferred Reese and still have questions about Bailey vs. the run, but still understand how they ended up here. Sadiq felt like a true BPA. No CBs there, too early for DT or LB, no true OG types. Again, understand how they ended up with him as BPA. Just a peculiar pick with Mason Taylor and where they’re at. But it felt like a “follow the board” pick at a weird part of draft. Cooper in isolation is fine, but felt a little too much young pass catcher at once. Curious as to how he will be used and hold up on the outside. If Mitchell gives anything on the outside, there’s some synergy with Wilson and Cooper working other parts and creating after the catch. Didn’t outright hate anything. More like… a collection of B- moves. And with how the night went, understand the Sadiq move a *little* better.
Chase12270@chase12270

@Nate_Tice Curious your thoughts on all 3 of the picks?
