Nowadays, there are OS level mechanisms to determine install source (the Installed from section in app info) and you'll usually just get a pop up telling you to download it from Play Store

In Talking Tom (pre-2016) if it detects you downloaded an APK of it instead of getting it on the playstore, it will distort toms voice. This goes for a few other Outfit7 games.

That's is so wrong. Either you don't own an iphone or your don't own an android. Either one. In case of iphone if using your apple account for signing apps : Get a computer Install the tool first in the computer Sign into the tool using your apple account Sideload the ipa to your device Go to vpn and device management and trust the certificate. That's it 😂😂 In case of Android Download apk Disable play protect(if enabled) Install.

At this point, sideloading IPA files on iPhone is easier and faster than installing APK files on Android. Android has added too many restrictions.

I feel validated that people hate GIMP now. Like 10 years ago in the 2010s everybody would recommend it like it's the best software ever, but when I tried it I found the UI insanely shit & confusing to work with. I quickly went back to paint .net and I still use it to this day.

What the h€ll is wrong with you Samsung! Samsung's app store and app recommendation is just as cancerous as Xiaomi's GetApps, OPPO's App Market and vivo's V-Appstore! The moment I connect my S26 Ultra to wifi, it starts to download 29 apps, no way to cancel or stop it. Like literally no button to press. These things needs to be removed!
