“We were deeply dismayed that legislation to adopt the IHRA definition was recently shelved for political reasons, despite broad support in the legislature and clear evidence of rising antisemitism,” the petition stated. “At a moment when Jewish communities seek protection and clarity, this delay sends a troubling message about whether Jewish safety is prioritized.” algemeiner.com/2026/05/25/new…

Regarding recent antisemitism incidents in the U.S., Rep. Josh Gottheimer (D-NJ) says “It's totally unacceptable, and what's happening now is it's far too often in our politics on both sides…Whether it's Hasan Piker, who's a streamer on the left, or Candace Owens on the right.” “None of this should be acceptable,” he adds. “And Mike [Lawler] and I… both of us believe deeply that we need to stand up to this.” “It is something that all of us have a responsibility to push back against, regardless of party,” adds Rep. Mike Lawler (R-NY). “What Josh and I are trying to do in putting this resolution forward is to say, ‘Enough,’ and to say to both parties, ‘We have to police our own. We cannot allow this. We cannot support candidates who engage in rank, vile antisemitism.’”

Choosing a member of Jewish Voice for Peace, whose views are shared by 5 percent of Jews, to be a faith liaison is an act of tokenism, not representation.

Who publishes a feature on the "human toll" of the Lebanon war, replete with multiple emotional images of mass funerals of Hezbollah terrorists? @nytimes, that's who.

“The response to rising antisemitism is not retreat. It is standing up for your identity, and being proud enough to remain visibly, publicly and unapologetically Jewish. This is the resilience that will carry us through.” chicagotribune.com/2026/05/24/opi…

The “evidence” to support the idea that Gaza cost Harris the election comes from the IMEU, but their own polling betrays their claim. Their survey shows that the primary motivator for most Biden voters who did not support Harris was not the war in Gaza, but a familiar mix of factors including economic anxiety, dissatisfaction with party leadership, and turnout erosion among younger and infrequent voters. In the survey’s only series of questions asking voters to compare issues that influenced their vote, more cited inflation, abortion access, and immigration than violence between Israel and Gaza. static1.squarespace.com/static/667c26d…

AOC: I think it’s pretty unbelievable that Gaza would not be mentioned once in the autopsy report. I think it was very clearly a major dynamic and a major thread that was happening in 2024. The fact that it’s not even addressed, I think, is a major oversight. And I think that for young people, it was a huge part of the environment. I can tell you for myself as a candidate during that cycle, there’s no way that it was an ignorable issue or totally immaterial. So I think that it’s a real disservice to not speak to that or include or assess that.

For months we were told Kamala Harris lost because she wasn't hostile enough to Israel, that the party’s autopsy report proved it, and that the report was being hidden to protect the U.S.-Israel relationship. The report is now public, and it doesn't even mention Israel or Gaza once. That’s quite a disconnect from the media narrative.

The DNC finally released the full 192 page 2024 election autopsy today. I haven't read the whole thing, but I did read "What Happened" and it's very clear why the DNC did not release it. It's not Gaza/Palestine - that is not mentioned once in any capacity. It's just a horrible document. The most incompetent thing I've seen in a very long time. It provides essentially no information of any value. I'll give some examples in the thread.

More than 2,000 New Jersey rabbis and lay leaders signed a petition to Gov. Mikie Sherrill and state lawmakers urging them to take prompt action to implement the IHRA’s working definition of antisemitism in the state. @marcrod97 reports: ji.news/553q9

This is from @imeupolicy “Ken Martin should release the information that the author of the autopsy told us clearly and unambiguously, which is that DNC officials’ review of their own data found Biden’s support for Israel to be a net-negative for Democrats in 2024.”

DNC autopsy author Paul Rivera met with the pro-Palestinian group IMEU Policy Project in July 2025, and told them the war in Gaza hurt Democrats in the 2024 election, according to two people familiar with the meeting. But the final report makes no mention of "Israel" or "Gaza." Rivera didn't respond to a request for comment. axios.com/2026/05/21/dem…
