@bbclaurak Why are SSE pricing SME customers out by offering contract rates at 90p plus per kWh up from current 16.5p. After govt assistance this means rates STILL at circa 350% increase. Pricing for risk is just PROFITEERING. Please ask the CEO!

@ThomHetheringto @thesundaytimes Unbelievably biased reporting from a “quality” newspaper. The FIRST Proton Beam Centre in the uk was at The Christie for which £500k was donated by @TimBaconCharity the generosity of Mancunians and hospitality businesses across the country made that happen.

This journalistic Londoncentricity drives me insane @thesundaytimes. Your OWN ARTICLE, beyond the headline and lead paragraph, goes on to explain that the *first* proton beam cancer centre actually opened in Manchester in 2018. Why not just frame the story that way from the off?!

Thank you …. Why don’t we get such common sense factual information from the scientists. Instead we get “could”, “might”, “maybe” This is not advice it’s opinion and it’s useless. No wonder spineless politicians make stupid decisions.

Your daily reminder. The UK is in a strong position. We have a huge amount of immunity, both from natural infection and vaccines. Spanish flu fizzled out with a weak variant. No need to panic! Let the vulnerable be cautious while the rest get on with it.

So watching the news tonight….93,045 new cases. No report how many were omicron. Surely that is the number we need then we would know if doubling every 2 days was happening. Two days ago it was 11,000. So was it 22,000 today. Was it *****.

@piersmorgan Ok so The common cold is a coronavirus has everybody forgotten that? Very contagious but only displays mild symptoms that the fit and well can cope with. Omnicrom is the latest more infectious but very mild version of covid 19 which is also a corona virus. Spot the similarity.
