Have you noticed a pattern? France, UK, Australia and Canada all simultaneously recognize Palestine at exactly the same time. France, UK, Australia and Canada all simultaneously demand a ceasefire with Hamas. France, UK, Australia and Canada all simultaneously demand a ceasefire with Iran. France, UK, Australia and Canada all simultaneously demand a two state solution. France, UK, Australia and Canada all simultaneously consistently condemn any action taken by Israel to defend itself. France, UK, Australia and Canada all simultaneously refuse to help the US in the Strait of Hormuz. France, UK, Australia and Canada all simultaneously call for Lebanon to be part of this ceasefire. Time after time after time, France, UK, Australia and Canada all simultaneously stand with terrorists and against the west.

This is excellent news. It will be a lot harder for Palestine Action to manipulate the civil court system. This might actually be a better deterrent than criminal proceedings. Well done Allianz 🙌

UK Foreign Secretary calls for Lebanon to be “urgently included” in ceasefire. So she wants Hezbollah, a proscribed terrorist group hellbent on killing Jews, to be protected. Okay, got it. And her government still refuses to proscribe the IRGC as a terrorist group.

@elliehodges62 Likewise, so called “blue light” discounts offered to anyone who works in the NHS - that’s over 1.2 million people - even though <40% are in clinical roles and all of them have guaranteed job security.

I genuinely can’t believe I’m reading this correctly!!! Why should being on benefits entitle someone to a near free trip to some of London’s biggest tourist attractions? These are places that thousands of working people pay full price for every single day. People who work hard are already struggling with the cost of living and often can’t even afford to take their own children to these places. Yet somehow, those on Universal Credit are being given access at a fraction of the cost. And then people wonder why more and more are claiming benefits. When the system starts rewarding those who aren’t working over those who are, something has clearly gone very wrong.

We’re backing the next chapter of South Yorkshire’s industrial heritage, with over 400 new industrial jobs through this major hydrogen investment. This is our clean energy mission in action: rebuilding our energy security with clean homegrown power and good industrial jobs.

ITM Power has secured £86.5m ($115.9m) in UK public backing, with state-owned Great British Energy (GBE) taking an 10.8% equity stake as the electrolyser manufacturer moves to scale production of its next-generation stacks. dlvr.it/TRxcS3 #hydrogen #HydrogenNow #H2View

Shocking incident In the quiet Spanish village of San Emiliano, León, a 26-year-old Honduran illegal invader has a row with locals in the bar. Storms out, returns with a jerry can of petrol, douses the entrance and sets it on fire, while locals are still inside. Europe is lost.

If immigrants are sending money 'back home' that is taken directly from any form of benefit payment, those immigrants should stop receiving those benefits. Are we mugs or what?!?!

🚨NEW: HMS Dragon has been forced to dock in the Med because of 'technical issues' with its water system. Have I got this right? It arrived three weeks late and now it's broken down. Totally unacceptable. What an embarrassment.

@BurnsideWasTosh People reliant on means tested benefits are far more vulnerable to changes in the rules than those that that have savings or other income to supplement the state pension. At least until foolish people remove contribution based benefits and people stop saving as a result.

All the people boring on about the State Pension you've paid into your whole life. Someone who has done nothing, paid no NI contributions will end up with pretty much the same through pension credit. The whole system is rigged against paying your way.

We’re in massive trouble, brought forward by the war on Iran. Where the US is mostly self sufficient the UK is utterly exposed. the Uniparty and its slavish net zero mania is the catalyst for disaster. ▪️By the end of April / May everything transported will begin to increase in price. Businesses will pass on costs or cut back with redundancies first. And don’t look to the Bank of England to help. It’s only ‘help’ will hurt more! ▪️By June/July / August. Grocery inflation will spike, Meat, salad, imported food all rise. Energy bills could be heading back towards £2,000 What that means is, many of those on benefits will be better off than Middle income families, now seriously struggling, with little or no disposable income. The knock on effect is that all consumer industries will be affected. They will start making bigger cuts. House moving could stall almost completely, DIY and all services are affected. Hospitality and travel particularly affected, with spikes in closures and redundancies. Every industry not funded by tax payer public money will be shrinking. ▪️September (if it drags on) Full energy crisis territory. Oil potentially $170–$200 and the Government will be forced to intervene but only those on benefits will receive support. This isn’t a temporary spike. It’s a chain reaction, the UK has little resilience to cope with prolonged interference with its ‘just in time’ energy economy. The war hasn’t “caused” the problem. It’s exposed it and accelerated it. The problem has always been closer to home and it’s now compounded by government policies.

Hmm… I think the Waitrose Board of directors need to get control over their daft HR department. I agree no job is worth dying for but this situation could have been handled internally, the rules re explained to the employee and they would have avoided the disastrous PR they now have. Control freak HR staff terrorising employees with their commandments, are as bad as power crazed civil servants! They never face the consequences of their actions. Make common sense common again.

Every measure you list involves spending wealth. You don’t list one measure that creates wealth. And if you don’t create wealth you will soon run out of it to spend, which is already happening (hence all your extra taxes and borrowing).
