@CFC_Christo1 @ChelseaFC @TheChelseaForum @pmcafrica Reece James, he has 5 trophies. We need to stop this comparison with Timber. The only area where Timber may be the equal, possibly a little better than Reece, is 1v1 duels. In every other facet of the game, Reece James is levels above Timber and I mean levels.

@UTDRico8 Why are you lying, grow up and try and say something intelligent. Bruno is superb, the best creative force in Europe not just the PL. There you, an objective, point of view from an Arsenal fan. Please stop these silly untrue posts.

When you do something great, and do it differently, you stop competing… you become the standard. Bruno Fernandes has taken set pieces to a level where they now need their own category just to measure him properly. I’m not even mad anymore. This isn’t normal output, it’s specialization at an elite level. Now assists get split into open play and set pieces, not for balance, but because Bruno tilted the scale. He made people look twice at something they used to overlook. You don’t create new standards unless you’re operating above everyone else. You can debate style, you can debate system, but you cannot hate on greatness when it’s this consistent.

@ultimate_kombo Who was disrespecting Europe’s elite? That’s who scored all the goals right? What has that got to do with strength and depth of their respective leagues? No one is disputing Europes elite are excellent they are?

For a league that never stops shouting “best in the world,” this Champions League round of 16 was nothing short of a reality check for English clubs. Six representatives walked in with chest out… but most of them walked straight into humiliation. It started from the first legs — not a single English side managed a win. That alone was already a warning sign. Then came the knockouts… and the real damage: •Chelsea got completely dismantled by PSG — 8-2 on aggregate. •Manchester City were outclassed by Real Madrid — 5-1 aggregate. •Newcastle? Absolutely embarrassed — conceding SEVEN in one night to Barcelona. •Tottenham fought, but still got knocked out after a heavy first-leg damage. At that point, it stopped being bad form… and started looking like a full-blown collapse. Only Arsenal and Liverpool managed to restore a bit of pride by qualifying for the quarter-finals, while the rest were sent packing in brutal fashion. ⸻ In conclusions: This wasn’t just elimination… it was exposure. The same league that dominates headlines every weekend got outplayed, outclassed, and in some cases — completely humiliated — when it mattered most in Europe. Turns out, the “best league in the world” still has to prove it… where it truly counts.

The overall standard of the PL is higher that’s the point. At the top of each European league there are obviously elite teams, Bayern, PSG, Madrid, etc. All are capable of beating the top PL teams and a couple who are better. For me Bayern are the best team in Europe not Arsenal. But they are outliers, the over all leagues are weaker and inferior outside of the say the top 2 in each. That is what we mean when we say the PL is the best league. It’s deeper in quality. Do you see the point? Can we agree on that?

@Chidoskinho @iam_commando @Manchester96622 @UtdPride The point in case you missed it, is the PL is way more competitive as a league. That doesn’t mean Europe’s elite cannot win football matches against PL teams. Do you understand the distinction?

This is just isn’t true and it’s very misleading to drive a false narrative. The value of the starting 11, not what they paid for them, is over €700m according to Transfermarkt. That is calculated based in their performances and scouting reports. This is a much more accurate and representative view of the VALUE and ABILITY of the starting 11z Which is why Barca are top of La Liga and Newcastle are 9th in the PL.

The PL had the highest representation in the round of 16 by a significant margin, indicating strong league wide ‘depth’, though this is partially influenced by higher entry allocation due to the coefficients. When we say the PL is the best in the world, we mean the entire league, its depth and its competitiveness. No one is saying that the elite teams in Europe, Barca, Madrid, PSG, Atleti, aren’t capable of beating PL teams, they of course are. Can you see the distinction?

If there was ever a need to justify why the world hates English media, this is it. 👇 Before, when all the English side were doing well it was because the Premier League is best in the world by far. Now, it’s too competitive and all the players are tired and that’s why they’re losing/struggling. They are so insecure about not being the best that they have to try and justify losing, it’s quite frankly embarrassing. 🤣

@Corballyred He isn’t finished but he has lost a tonne of pace and sharpness. Doesn’t carry the fear factor he used to. Is fairly easily dealt with by good defenders. Really misses TAA. Superb player at his best, which is behind him.

Hearing Salah is finished, yet he has 10G + 9A this season. 19 G/A in 32 games. Saka: only has 16 G/A in 41 games, still tipped as POTY contender. 1st African to 50 UCL goals. Keep Salah another season, who says no 👍

@Dat_boy_nino So Barca play a team 9th in the PL, being 1st in theirs and they aren’t expected to beat them with ease? You are using this as benchmark for how good Barca are against PL opposition? How about Chelsea?
