At one point, California had more people applying for unemployment than there were adults in the entire state. $32.6 billion. Gone. Prisoners collected. Dead people collected. I warned them. Ending birthright citizenship for illegal aliens would remove one of the largest drivers of illegal immigration to our country. Without the shiny object of birth tourism, you would see it end almost overnight. Democrats are freaking out about this— because they not only want illegal immigration, but the future of their party depends on illegal immigration.

This "deeply reported" piece from WIRED is inexcusably bad.
First, it is just wrong. Not nitpicky things, fundamentally false jabs and premises.
Second, it completely ignores the stakes of supporting active troops to push r/antiwork softboy talking points. Examples below.

SCOOP: Trump's DC Task Force has cleaned out 142 homeless encampments throughout the city + now there are no known encampments between National Park Service units in the D.C. area parks, according to data provided with @DailyCaller. It's been one year since the “Make D.C. Safe and Beautiful Task Force” was created. They've made 11,205 arrests of 62 known gang members, 1,956 narcotics subjects, 1,036 subjects of firearms offenses and 30 homicide subjects in the last 365.

@jgebbia @abettertake So, curious, why not integrate it with social security? Every child born is generally assigned a social security number, why not make it automatic? That way it you leave it on parents who don’t get the automatic account created to fill out the IRS form?
