@CoachGunHayes I coached in high school and college. All of my guys had to be below 1.2 to the plate. They all needed to learn the slide step and use it with any runner on first unless we knew they weren’t stealing. 1.43 to the plate is terrible when they’re running all over you.

BC put on a clinic on the bases today but take a look at the catchers set up on pick offs vs pitches to the plate. Stealing bases becomes a lot easier when you know pitcher is going to plate. Details matter. Glove drop picks are often neutralized by someone tipping.

Hearing a starter, in a N.H. D2 JV baseball game, threw 166 pitches in a 9-4 loss. Coach at this school should be fired immediately. Also, NHIAA rule has a max pitch count of 100 in a sub-varsity game, but umpires don't enforce; up to coach to report violation to @NHIAA_LOA

Ain’t that the truth. Not complaining, but it would be nice if school boards realized their coaches hold just as much, if not more, influence over their students as the teacher. If Johnny isn’t doing their English homework, they talk to the coach, not the teacher. Why is that??!

Ware 2-3 2R and Loescher 2-4. Sacerdote threw the final 3.2 allowing 1R on 2H, 3BB, 5K. Hanover improves to 13-0 hosts Milford Friday before playing Lebanon at Red Rolfe Field at Dartmouth on 5/22. The venue is one of the top fields in the region.

Laconia 7 Hanover 8 Battled a very brutal 5th inning that had 6 BB, 2H, and 1E. Had to come from behind but tied it in the 6th, walked it off in the 8th. McBride missed a HR by 3’ in a very deep RF. Finished 3-5 with a HR shy of the cycle including the game winning oppo single.
