Of course all of them go to Heaven!
Vidit Sharma 🇮🇳@TheViditsharma
I truly believe that all dogs go to Heaven. Their love is pure, their loyalty is unconditional, and their hearts are filled only with kindness. They leave paw prints on our souls that last forever, and though they may no longer be by our side, their spirit lives on in the love they gave us. ❤️ #dogs

News coming in from #Potuakhali district.
In #Potuakhali town, Islamists vandalised and set ablaze 5 houses of the Hindu minorities.
Affected Hindu families are crying helplessly as Muslim-majority Bangladesh Government and Administration didn't help them.
This is the condition of the Hindu minorities in a Muslim-majority country.

And btw, I remember an India that while not perfect, or even much good,
was FAR more empathetic compared to today.
PS: In the past, if a mob tried to blast music to disturb a namaz, the most kattar Hindu would have stood up against that, tried to stop it. Now no one even tries. We were better people then. We were a better society then.

Column this week: NO, breaking parties by engineering defections and splits is NOT a ‘masterstroke’ but a sign of complete ideological bankruptcy and politics as a business ‘deal’. My column on how defection politics has changed from Aya Ram Gaya Ram of a previous Cong era to IPL-like auctions/ transactions in the BJP age. Read here:

Her name was Neha Shoree.
She was a drug inspector in Punjab.
In 2009, while posted in Ropar, she raided a chemist shop run by a man named Balwinder Singh.
During the inspection, she found dozens of types of tablets commonly misused by drug addicts. According to official records, he could not produce the required documents for them.
She cancelled his licence.
Then she moved on and continued doing her job.
By 2016, Neha Shoree had become the zonal licensing authority at a government drug laboratory in Kharar, near Mohali.
She was thirty six years old.
She had a young daughter at home. Her father was a retired Army captain who had fought in the 1971 war.
The man whose licence she had cancelled never forgot what had happened.
On the morning of March 29, 2019, Balwinder Singh walked into her office in Kharar carrying a licensed revolver.
He shot her inside her workplace.
Neha Shoree was rushed towards a hospital but died on the way.
The gunman then turned the weapon on himself and died soon afterwards.
According to the police, she had been due to testify against him in court.
Ten years had passed since the raid.
Ten years after she enforced the law, he came back for revenge.
Her father later said that his daughter had lived under pressure for years because of her work, but she never compromised and never backed down.
She was killed for doing exactly what the job had asked her to do.

“WHEN DEL IS WEAPONISED: JEWISH EXCEPTIONALISM, JEWISH SUPREMACY, AND THE POLICING OF DISSENT
DEI was initially conceived as a framework to protect historically marginalised racial, ethnic, gender, and other identity-based groups from exclusion, discrimination, and systemic disadvantage.
The promise was to foster inclusive workplaces and institutions in which power could be shared more equitably, and individuals from diverse backgrounds could thrive on their merits and through collective support.
But in recent years, especially in the context of the genocide in Gaza, Palestine and rising political tensions across the region, a disturbing transformation has unfolded:
DEI, once a tool for inclusion, has increasingly been leveraged as a mechanism to police speech, suppress pro-Palestinian activism, and, in some cases, enforce a kind of Jewish exceptionalism under the guise of combatting antisemitism.
In effect, instead of building solidarity among different marginalised groups, some institutions now treat jewish identity (co-opted by Zionism) as a protected, exceptional category.
Furthermore, what was promised as a commitment to pluralism and equitable representation has, in many settings, become a new form of institutional power that functionally operates as a form of Jewish supremacy: one that privileges Jewish identity and narrative above others, once again co-opted by and maliciously aligned with pro-Israel or Zionist political positions that weaponize institutional power to silence alternative perspectives and penalise dissent, solidarity with Palestinians, or critique of Israeli state policy.
This dual dynamic - Jewish exceptionalism institutionalised and the Palestine exception enforced - functions as bias and as a structural system of suppression.
The term Jewish supremacy appears in contemporary critical discourse about the Israeli-Palestinian 'conflict’ to describe structural and ideological hierarchies favouring Jews over non-Jews.
For example, the Israeli Jewish human rights group B Tselem in 2021 referred to Israel as ‘a regime of jewish supremacy from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea’.
Some analysts situate the concept within the founding ideologies of modern Zionism, arguing that, from its late-19th-century origins, the Zionist project embedded an ethno-nationalist logic favouring Jews.
Recently, the term has also been used to describe the way Jewish rights, safety, and feelings are favoured above those of other groups in Western societies.
Across corporate offices, tech companies, and universities in North America and internationally, hundreds of employees and academics have lost their jobs: not for incompetence, criminal wrongdoing, ot harassment, but for participating in protests, voicing solidarity with Palestinians, or publicly denouncing Israel's actions as genocide or apartheid.“
