Hernandez and Carlo Campajola our Head of Tokenomics & Lecturer in Artificial Intelligence and Financial Analytics @UCL Here are the highlights: 1. Carlo dove into #stablecoins, explaining their pivotal role in the #crypto ecosystem. 2. Carlo covered types, backing systems, benefits, and use cases of stablecoins, highlighting their rise post-#DeFi summer 2020-2021. He also explained the Terra-Luna crash to illustrate the risks of algorithmic stablecoins. 3. Walter presented their research on “The effects of transparency on stablecoin liquidity during the collapse of the Silicon Valley Bank,” conducted with @JiahuaJavaXu, @Paolotasca, and Carlo. 📃 In this study they analysed USD-USDT liquidity pools on DEXs during the crisis to examine transparency effects.
